Welcome:

Thank you for visiting.  I hope you enjoy reading my books.  I sincerely wish that they provide not only some escape and enjoyment, but you take away a little something you learn along the journey.

Some people say that romance books have very little literary substance.  I disagree.  I believe that every book shares a piece of the writer's soul.  Something is meant to be heard if only you will listen.  It is possible to experience a deeper or different human emotion.  Maybe travel to a new location you've never been to on this world or beyond...  Maybe its just a word you've never run across before that takes you to the dictionary.  Somehow there will be an experience you've never had before.  The possibilities are endless...

News Update:

I'm happy to say I've finished my fourth book--a light contemporary romance titled, Caskets and Corruption.  Hopefully it will be coming out within the year.

Author Review:

Cindy Christiansen's books are delightful reading because she is a master wordsmith. She also writes of places she personally knows. Unlike most of today's novels, her grammar, word use, sentence structure and descriptions are notcommon and would be accepted as college reading, but it's not too elevated for the average reader. Her books always give an outstanding read, in an almost-lost style. I have found them thoroughly enjoyable on many levels. The average reader will not know why they like her books, they will just like them!

Interesting Facts about Dragonflies:

You may be wondering about the dragonflies. My family was camping in Idaho when I saw my first bunch of dragonflies. What a beautiful site, their bodies often blue, green, purple and even bronze. Their wings shimmer like silver. They have intrigued me ever since. I have a room in my house devoted to them.

Did you know that they have evolved since pre-historic times and have gotten smaller over time? They have been around for over 300 million years and used to have a wingspan over two feet!

Dragonflies have six legs they use to form an oval shaped basket to scoop up insects, particularly mosquitoes, right out of the air. They help keep the mosquitoe, fly and other flying insect population down.

Dragonflies can fly up to sixty miles per hour. Can you imagine?

They have two main eyes that are made up of 20,000 or more little eyes. Yuck!

I had no idea but there are actually 2500 differentspecies of dragonflies.

So on the wings of a dragonfly...dare to dream!

Cindy
